Rout Lëns, a sustainable, innovative and exemplary neighbourhood
To the south-west of Esch-sur-Alzette, between the city center, the railway line and the French border, the “Lentille Terres-Rouges” site has been more exploited since 1977. The Rout Lëns project, which means “red lentil”, intends to revive this steel industry, thanks to its conversion into a new sustainable, innovative and exemplary district.
